What Do Numbers, Names and Running a Highly Profitable Business Have in Common?

July 1, 2009

For some people the idea of using numerology for your business seems like a load of bunk. They think it’s some out there spiritual tool that has no legs and they can’t imagine how knowing their numbers can actually help them grow their bottom line.

And, even when they do decide to dip their toe in and discover for themselves how insightful, powerful and innovate this ancient system is, they wonder how it fits into the bigger picture and how I can really help them in their business long term. That’s when I share with them the one thing that numbers, names, and running a highly profitable business have in common. It’s really simple. Knowing the numbers in your personal success chart, knowing how your current name is either helping or creating obstacles for you, knowing how to name your products and programs so they are both marketable and numerologically fortunate and marketing and growing your business over the long haul all have to do with one thing…finding your flow.

Numerology is a doorway but finding your flow – the thing that makes your business easy, fun, profitable and sustainable –  is the result.

So what does finding your flow look like?

It often looks different for each of my clients. For some…

  • it’s about giving themselves permission to do what they really want rather than what they think they are supposed to do or what someone told them would “sell”
  • it’s dumping tired and old cookie cutter marketing startegies that don’t fit who they are in any way shape or form and coming up with new, fun and creative ways for them to communicate with their audience in a way that feels authentic for them
  • it’s about helping them give up the stories they keep playing over and over again that are preventing them from taking inspired action
  • it’s about translating many of the principles of yoga and living in the moment into something that isn’t all woo woo and cliche to something they can use and practice in their daily life, what I call “returning to the mat”
  • it’s simply a matter of providing support and accountability and encourgement as they leap over some hurdles (often intimately tied to the karmic debts or challenges in their numerology chart) as they find a way to monetize their passions so they can have the super fun lifestyle they want

Most of the time when people are not achieving the level of success they want or they feel like it is just way too hard all of the time, it’s because they are not in the flow. When you are in the flow, life is easier, more simple and rather than looking at obstacles as big jagged rocks that seem impossible to pass, they are simply seen as one large wave you just happened to miss this time around. But, you paddle back out knowing you can catch the next one and ride in with speed and ease.

The fact is the current of our lives is flowing in a certain direction as a matter of universal law. We can try and fight it by continuing to model people, practices and strategies that don’t work for us, continuing a business model that’s out of alignment with what we really want, or continuing to do things that ensure our lackluster results. Or, we can hop on the wave in the direction it is flowing and tap into the flow.

Find your flow today and then be sure to stay tuned for my new book that’s coming out this fall called The Entrepreneur’s NON Woo Woo Guide to Numerology: Finding Your Flow through Numbers, Names and Returning to the Mat.
